Catalytic Converter/O2 sensor

Asked by Thomas Mar 19, 2021 at 10:17 AM about the 2007 Volvo XC90 3.2 AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

One of the converters or O2 sensor is bad. Getting bad reading from O2S12
but I can't find which side this is on. Driver side or passenger side? It ranges
from .896 to .081 on my scanner O2S22 ranges from .735 to .458 on scanner.
I'm trying to fix myself because of cost, any help would be great!!

It's either on Bank 1 or Bank 2. Sensor 1 or Sensor 2. Sensor 1 is in front of the catalytic converter and Sensor 2 is behind the Converter. Bank 1 is wherever cylinder 1 is located. So, you'll have to know your firing order to identify.(Google is great for finding firing order)
