No battery light not charging

I have a headache my taurus wont charge I
replaced the generator fuse under the hood #26
the mega fuse and checked all 30 amp fuses for
shits. I can't find out what's going on, the check
engine light wont illuminate in on position or while
it's losing the charge until it's dead. I have checked
the wires they all seem to be ok. Am I missing a
ground or something? Please help gurus!!!

a multi tester would help , the batt. should have 12.5 volts at rest , and 14 + when it's running and the alt. is charging, , scan for codes , replace the bulb light on the C.E.L. and any others while you're there , may be the batt. light bulb is no good

My wife's friend had the same problem her alternator went out on her car and I bought a new one and put it on for her and it still wasn't charging. When I looked into this more I found out there is 2 different alternators for the 3.0.one is 110 volt and the other is 105 volt and they don't interchange you can look it up your cars vin number
