How do I get in to change the bulb in the headlight assembly on a 2001 Civic EX?

Asked by drivenone2000 Apr 12, 2007 at 12:44 PM about the 2001 Honda Civic EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How do I get inside the headlight assembly on a 2001 Civic to change a burnt out bulb? It is the little circle light that is burnt out. I don't know what it is called! I just bought this car and there is NO owners manual.

Hi driveone! Here's a generic how-to that will probably help you: http://www.ehow.com/how_2630_replace-car-headlight.html ... If this doesn't address the particular needs of your Civic you'll probably want to drop a dime to your local Honda Service Manager to get the inside info for your car. Good luck...

I would head to YouTube that's how I learned to change my head lights. I watched a very informative video. Just search for a good well focused narrator's voice. Then pick up the parts. Remember to wear medical gloves when handling a headlight bulb, also bulb lubricant nerver hurts.
