Asked by Sandra Dec 19, 2016 at 11:17 PM about the 2001 Honda Civic LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Honda Civic that over heats when driving with white smoke, and when idling the car shakes then stalls. I have no heat in the car. I have replace the rad, the thermostat and fans. I don't know what is wrong and every time I take it in it is something else wrong. Please help me, what is wrong with my car?

If it's white smoke that disappears, it's steam caused by blown head gasket. Do a compression test

Sounds like your poor Honda is having engine problems- cut your losses and get another car-
