sometimes a crack in the distributor, coil wire or coil will cause this. just throwin it out there.
We changed the distributor and rotor, and it still does it. I have been reading some of the other things on here, someone mentioned pick up coil, is that what you are talking about. Not sure if our mechanic checked that.
This sounds electrical. Not likely the pick-up coil tho, usually something is attracting the dampness and if a part is starting to break down allowing moister in causes hard starting. Usually a distributor cap, spark plugs and wires corrects this. But it also could be the coil that may have a crack in it or breaking down, or the Ignition Control Module also may be breaking down. So check once the vehicle has sat overnight, the spark out of the coil to see what it looks like. It should be a white, bluish in color, NOT orange in color. If it is orange in color then there is a weak spark.
