Honda odyssey was out of use for 9 months

Got battery jumped and vehicle started
but after a minute or two the
tachometer started maxing out then
vehicle would act like it wanted to die.
Did this for at least five minutes and
shut it off

If the battery was not disconnected when you parked it replace the battery. If the battery was disconnected when you parked it charge it up, and load test the battery. If it fails the load test replace the battery. Then go from there. Hope that helps! Jim
