Any repair would not work well. Replacing it is the best course of action.

A parts dismantler near me routinely sells mirrors and headlight assemblies for dirt cheap (like $10) check what's around you. Places that scrap them out for the metal don't really care about the plastic parts so let them go cheaply. Only down side is how often are they getting your specific make and model. If you can't find one, see if it's just a plastic piece that's broken, a good 2-part resin will have it fixed in no time.

I bought a new one for my Ford from an aftermarket supplier and it was cheap and fit perfectly. It still works great after 5 -6 years.
