Your Starter can be intermittent or there is a start wire that
comes from the steering column switch, it can work
intermittently. The start wire switches 12 volts to your starter
solenoid ( small wire ) when you turn the key. You can jump 12
volts to the small terminal on your starter when it won't start to
determine if that wire is not supplying the current and voltage
needed. Make sure it is in Park with the emergency brake on!
Try the easiest thing first, Rap on the starter with a hammer
when it fails to start. check for loose wires ect.. near starter.
Many times a starter can test good at a parts store but be
intermittently bad on your vehicle.
