Tahoe Wont Start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
So when it rains outside, or gets very moist outside. My tahoe will not start.
I've tried spraying starter fluid in but it still wont start. Could the plugs be going
bad? Or could I possibly need a new distributor

If you want a cheap thrill wait for a rainy orvery moist night, open the hood then have someone crank the engine while you watch a great light show as all the wires leaking and arcing demonstrates what 30.000 volts can do, after that change the wires and plugs, don't buy cheap wires a good set will last the life of the vehicle.
My 97 Tahoe did exactly the same thing & I’ll tell you what it is it’s the cam position sensor .It’s located under the distributor, you’ll have to take cap off and bump starter until the cut out in bottom of distributor lines up with sensor then you can get the old one unplugged & out & a new one in .
