2000 Honda Civic ex no clue how to fix it plz help!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So the car won't start. Not getting
fire at the distributor. Put new
distributor on and still no power.
Took it into shop. Mechanic said
needed new/used computer. Put a
computer in it and the programmed it
and still nothing. They say it may
need to go to Honda dealer to get
fixed. Ain't nobody got time for that!
Any ideas on why it's not starting??
