fule and oil

I was working on my 2000 Honda civic ex
distributor and when I went to turn on my car it
won't start. I checked the oil and it reeks of gas.
Any suggestions of what to do?

Gas in the oil is probably from a leaking fuel injector. Are the spark plug insulators black with soot?

Change the oil immediately and have the injectors checked out.
