original steering wheel 2000 odyssey

I can't STAND the disintegrating foam rubber leaving chunks in my hands
every time I touch the thing!

What am I to do? Will my only option be to weave a leather wrap around it??
(I'd much rather replace it with something nice - part leather, wood etc....such
as what's on later models)

My exact van is doing the same thing. I just put a cheaper cover on it and it's okay. I hate seeing my "baby" fall apart little by little. Have you heard what our vans are worth, should we try to see them? I can't get a price pinpointed.
