Buying a used car, is it worth it?

It is not worth buying a used Caliber unless you want to deal with mechanical issues and dump more money into than what it is worth.

Can you afford the lose the $1,100?

If the vehicle is in overall good condition it's probably worth it. I personally don't like Chrysler Products but have your mechanic check it out. Get a vehicle history report such as carfax too, just to be sure! Hope that helps! Jim
