Fuel door

I recently replaced my battery but just noticed that my fuel door does not
lock does anybody know what could be done to fix this

The fuel door actuator could be fault, or the wiring. The pin that locks the door sometimes gets dirty and stuck. A good cleaning with WD-40 might help. Further inspection is required.
