Jetta 2012 2.0 automatic

Hi, Today on highway my car started jurking and I
saw engine light were blinking, after little slow
down engine light went off. My car has high
mileage 181000 km, pls suggest what could be the
issue

Even if the check engine light went off again, have it scanned for codes and see what's going on. Keep in mind that vehicle, like so many, is due for a timing belt replacement. It might have jumped a cog and set off the CEL. If you notice is runs terrible now and lost power, that would mean the belt may be failing soon causing engine damage. That's IF it's the belt. The belt can be inspected before disassembly.
