2011 VW Jetta SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had the radio in my 2011 Jetta replaced twice
while it was under warranty. Now it's out of
warranty and the radio went again. But this time it
comes on for like for 2 minutes and then goes off.
Fuses are good.

I would look into an after market radio. Try Crutchfield.

I did this wrong but if the radio was totally dead like it was the past two times why does it come on for 2 minutes.

If your warranty claim for this radio was initiated while the warranty was valid, they are legally obligated to keep helping you until they finally get it right. Don't let them brush you off. Call the VW regional office for help or try another dealership that might know how to fix things. Repair records for your car should be in the VW database to confirm your claim, that started under warranty, is still valid. I'm not a lawyer, but I know how to handle dealerships with a negative attitude toward their customers.
