2008 vw jetta faulty gas gauge

I have put $15 of gas in my car in the last two days. The gas gauge drops every
time below e. Once it hits all the way below e it dies like its out of gas, but i
know it has gas in it. What is going on? How can I fix this?

Well normally when the gauge goes to empty, the car is out of gas. Check the fuel sending unit in the gas tank, that usually is in charge of both the gauge and sending fuel to the engine. It could also be : clogged fuel line, bad fuel pump, clogged filter, leaking gas tank/ filler neck, cracked/leaking fuel line
