Braking
Tonight my 1998 Honda Accord DX all of sudden started
breaking own its own in the middle of the road, 3 times.
When I came to a red light and proceeded to go, the car
function normally. Should I be worried?

I'm assuming you meant braking like applying brakes on it's own. If that's the case, you need to get your brakes and wheel bearings inspected otherwise it's gonna lock up.

A bad master cylinder can do this, most times it will continue to tighten down on the brakes as you move forward though and not let go if its a master cylinder. Could be a piece of brake shoe/pad breaking off and getting between the pad and the metal surface. Which I have seen in the last ten years, where I never so this until about 2000. I think its the pad quality sold now. I would pull them off to see if the pads are defective and if they are not and it does it again put on a new master cylinder.

My Honda 1989 CRX did this and I had to put a new master cylinder on it.
One other thing it could be, is if you have rear brake shooes and drums on the car anywhere, especially the rear, if the brakes have been changed at all, the self adjusters could have been put in backwards. This causes the brakes to self adjust while driving forward instead of while backing the car up, and that causes the brakes to over tighten and can lock the wheels soild. I have seen this many times.
