Brake light switch isn't reading, need help?

I have a 1998 Honda Accord and I'm having problems with
the brake light switch. We've replaced it and it didnt work
so we took it back got a new one thinking maybe it was a
bad part. Well still nothing!!! I'm thinking it may be my
wiring connector that plugs into the brake light switch.
Can someone give me any idea on how I may can test that
part to see if that is my problem?

Multimeter, make sure its getting voltage to the switch
Make sure the fuse is good too
When checking the switch, make sure the switch is at rest (open) when no brake is applied and shows voltage (12 v) when the brakes are energized. If it doesn't, the switch is bad. If it does. check if it is aligned properly so that the switch actually operates when the brake is depressed.
So I've tested the switch with a 12V and checked all the fuses. Could it possibly be the wiring connector that plugs into the switch? If so how do I test it?
If you have 12v at the switch input then you should replace the switch.
Taver91 its already been replaced 2x. Ella, when its connected, have someone watch for brake lights while you press the switch by hand. If that allows it to work then it's a mechanical problem where the switch isnt fully into position
