James I owned a Honda CR-V which did this also....Appearently Thier is. National recall on all Honda's for a faulty wire ignition harness. But in my case, I found out a simple fix was all that was needed. Researched this trouble...Would start, run a while, then stall out....Sit about 30mins, start right up....This could happen erratically...Twice in a day...Sometimes not for a cpl days. It was the ECM located under the cap inside the distributor...$45 replacement, did it myself.....Ran great until a small by-pass hose popped during the winter, and I sucked a head gasket. On the recall...Look up Honda America, there will be a 800 number you can call....Give them your VIN # and they'll confirm if your car has been thru a dealership for the recall.....Don't matter if your the original owner or not....And yes, it's free repair
