Lost power to components after replacing passenger headlight

Asked by Dendulk25 Jul 29, 2016 at 09:52 AM about the 1998 Honda Accord LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After replacing a broken headlight on my car, the
low beam lights for it stopped working (they
worked for the busted headlight just before), I lost
power to my door locks, only driver side power
windows roll down using the main driver door
buttons, but I can roll down the passenger side
with the passenger side button. In the process of
replacing the light, I had to take out the battery, but
nothing else electrical. I checked the fuses for the
problem components but none were blown. I am
unsure what has caused this as all components
worked fine prior to replacement.

Sometimes it's better to leave electrical issues to professionals.
