okay with a wirebrush...you must undo the lug to the chassis ground...fender/frame...etc....and wirebrush that spot shiny...then polish the corrosion off of that negative 1/0 black cable from the battery....bolt the connection back with a clean, corrosion free bolt and enjoy the full potential of your ground....as the most important electrical component...you don't want to mess around with "brown" power...or limited amperage connections as bulbs will be weak and yellow and check engine lights begin to come on if the heated 02 sensor cannot heat properly...etc...so A WIREBRUSH can save the day....try N see, smooth operator_13 wlll tell ya~

Solid power will drive home that 50,000 volt spark....brown power will give you a 20,000 volt spark~ also relays that operate off of 12 volts will not solidly engage...such as the fuel pump relay and the ignition relay...windshield wiper relay...power window relay...all will be affected....by the way how old is your battery? modern tin/antimony alloy batteries will lose their ability to accept a charge ten percent per year...so in a matter of ten years WILL be dead and not takin' a charge anymore~....so get a new battery if you still have the 2000 battery in that~

okay back up the crazy bus....do we have power to the coil pack(S) from the ignition switch? is the battery to frame connection SOLID ground?
