Asked by GuruG3TFC Sep 02, 2020 at 11:24 AM about the 2013 Subaru Tribeca Premier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had an ABS warning light come on. I took car to my mechanic. Replaced
brake lamp switch. Light started coming on again (off and on). Now AT Temp
light going off and on. Took back to mechanics. Suggested taking to
dealership. Took to dealership, they’re telling me brake lamp switch needs to b
replaced. I talked to my mechanic, said will order new brake lamp switch by
Subaru (replaced with after market?) and replace. Dealership checked all
fluids, OK?? What is your opinion? My mechanic is only going to charge me
difference in part. Thought i would start there before I let dealership start
replacing parts??
