WRX engine dropped in 2.0-i S Impreza

I want a bit more power in my Impreza. Finances
aside, is this possible or am I dreaming? Would a
WRX engine be directly compatible?

Anything automotive is possible if Finances are not considered. I advise buying a WRX. You will get a properly engineered car and it will be cheaper!
