Car problems

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My car over heated and turned off itself.
There was no knocking noise or smoke of
any kind. The radiator wasn't steaming
either. It was the thermostat housing that
cracked. It was replaced but car still won't
start. What do you think is wrong with it?

Water was added to see if was gonna leak. There was no noise before it turned off. No smoke the radiator didn't even blow smoke. After thermostat housing was changed car still won't start.
Car makes no sound when you try to start. Didn't make any knocking noise or anything when it shut off. Just lost acceleration slowing and shut off.
Already did. All the lights stereo come on. Do you think it could be a sensor?
a stat housing don't crack unless it was froze with ice , was that the issue?
