Towing 2014 outback

Help. Want a teardrop tab. Have a 2014 Subaru
2.5 l 4cy. Currently have a Palomino Basecamp.
My head is spinning with gvwr, gawr, dry weight,
and gcwr. Can anybody give me the bottom line?

3,423 to 3,459 lbs as-is with nothing adding to the car. All stock.
Markw1952...trust me, I am studying my owners manual. The numerous towing parameters are somewhat confusing. Vehicle weight is 3423, gvwr is 4585. Gawr is 2360. On tab camper, gvwr is 2800, and gawr is 2900. I think the dry weight was about 1750. How does all this add up, and how do I determine the gross combined weight rating? Feel like I need an engineering degree. Thanks.
Add all your cargo weight in when figuring out what you can tow. Be aware that CVT's don't like towing. They are on thin ice just driving down the highway.
As usual Grashopper I am correct. I skipped the CVT since they are a problem and Subaru has now admitted it by extending warranties. Only a fool would buy a Subaru as a tow vehicle.
You have dodged the bullet so far by under loading your CVT. Buying a Subie as a tow vehicle is such a bad idea.
Does Subaru know you are cribbing their information Mark? Do you have written permission from SOA?
