Radio code

Asked by am126 May 23, 2011 at 09:55 PM about the 1996 Honda Accord EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Battery died and I could not find the code so tried a number of times with what I
thought the code was.  Gave up and about three weeks later, I found the code.
However, it isn't accepting the code - what can I do?

Was able to solve this - tried something mentioned for another problem - I disconnected the negative battery cable and left it for about 30 seconds. I then reconnected and was able to enter the code. Apparently entering a wrong code a number of times locked it. Even though I would wait and go back later, it would not accept the code until I disconnected the battery cable.
