Cranking problwms

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I crank my car i hear it click and all power dies for a
second but then it cranks and all my dash information is
reset to 0. Like my trip miles. Also I put my dimmer all the
way down and it was on bright so I know it got reset also.
I'm suspecting maybe a battery or loose wiring but not
sure.

Sounds like you battery connection is poor. Check the battery clamps as well as try to trace the ground and see if there is any corrosion in the aria where the ground attached to body/frame. BTW what kind of car do you have?
