My 1996 Honda Accord starts fine, but as it warms up, the idle (and the running rpm) gets higher and higher up to about 2.5k without stepping on the gas pedal.
Eventually I will just be driving around with my foot on the brakes and don't
even have to give it gas for slow speeds downtown (25-30mph). After the
engine is warm, when I stop and put it in Park, the engine revs up to about
2.5k rpm, which keeps me from being able to put it back into gear until the car
cools down again in a few hours. Any ideas?
