Need power fuel & spark to start and run. Obviously you have power, now you need to know if you have spark. You can find out by pulling a spark plug wire off a plug then use something metal in the end of the boot that sticks out far enough that when you hold it near the engine block, you can see sparks between the plug boot end and the block. If that's good, you need to see if you have fuel. These are the first basic steps.
