Average cost to drop and replace a tank can be 400 to 500. A mobile mechanic might be a little less.

I would look into replacing the tank yourself with a tank from the junkyard or a brand new tank

Replacing a tank usually morphs into replacing the tank straps, fuel filter, and fuel pump as well, so may want to leave a little more in the budget for those items.
