Speedometer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My speedometer stops working unless it's warm if it's to cool I run my heater
slightly and it kicks back on occasionally if it's really cold it will work for a few
then cuts out til I heat it up? What can be my problem?

Go to check steps go to sensor and cable and i then gear stick to rotate the speedometer check it also

Sounds like a bad solder on the back of the cluster panel.... when metal is cold is contracts and you can lose contact but heat makes it expand and can make contact again.... just a theory but worth looking into??
