My 95 Honda Accord V6 wont start properly after a freelance mechanic replaced the starter.I got the guy to replace the starter, but now the car is having some problems with the ignition. when i turn the key to the 2 position, nothing comes on. no dash, no radio, no fuel pump sounds. And when i crank it, i get power, and i can here the starter crank, but the car wont stay running after i stop cranking. i have been able to get the car running by turning the the key slightly past 2, this sends power to the dash, radio and fuel pump. i let the pumps work their magic and after a few tries i can get the car running normally. That is, of course, until i turn the car off and need to go through the process again.what the hell did he do to my car? 1 Answer

Hi, My 2005 Honda Accord has died twice in the last week for no reason. Last Monday while going to leave work it wouldn't start and I didn't leave anything on, I had a colleague jump it (battery is only 4 months old by the way) and was able to drive normally until yesterday when I got in my car and again it wouldn't start. This time I got out and while looking for a friend to jump my car I got in and for some reason it just started normally and all the electronics turned back on. I will mention I was involved in an accident 3 weeks prior (Mostly rear damage) and also had recently had a new stereo installed. 1 Answer

I have a 2001 honda accord and today my car wouldnt start up , i tried for about 5 mins then i stepped on the gas a little while i was trying to crank it and it finally turned over! My check engine light is on , i just had a few repairs on my car like changing front o2 sensor and brakes and oil change. My car has been hesitating alot in last few months. when i stop at a stop sign for example and then i press on the gas it takes awhile to feel like its normal full power til i step on it kinda hard then it shoots forward to normal. I had 2 codes coming up on my car , the mechanic cleared one when he changed out o2 sensor it was blistered (code had something to do with heating element) but he couldnt clear other code he was hoping in few days it would clear on its own after my oil change p1259 . any suggestions on what i may need this is my only transportation? 2 Answers
