2006 kia rio break lights blow out when i press break pedal hatchback lamp does'nt possible cause

Question type: General

replace both brake lamps with correct lamp ,press pedal and both left and right lamps blow out. the hatchback lamp is not affected and functions properly. tail lights, parking lights, turn signals and flashers operate normal. can someone help. no manuales

check the output voltage of the alternator....perhaps the voltage regulator is not doin' it's job properly~

test the wires going to the lamps...for proper 12.5 volts....an overvoltage condition would "blow them out"~
