Question type: General
I disconnected the red cable from the battery over night, when reconnecting the cable the
horn started honking like crazy, disconnected again, reconnected and did not try to start it
is fine. Now after hours of just sitting there I try to start the engine, nothing, try to put the
lever in N and try to start again, nothing

since this one does not have a keypad, I waited 30 minutes after reconnecting and did the 'key thing' but nothing
the theft light at the steering column is blinking so I think it does work but just don't turn
the passenger door has no lock
tried again the driver side, does not turn and theft sign in dashboard is on
Ok question!! I have a 99 ford expedition Eddie Bauer my column went out so we switched it out but now it won't start it acts like it wants too but it won't turn over any suggestions please help!!!
after calling ford service to set appointment and contacting roadside assistance. I took a second look at battery terminal. It was black with crud. So I got a gas rag, cleaned inside terminal connector and washed around battery terminal post. Got out $1.99 terminal post cleaner and brushed until I saw bright copper color. Scrubbed terminal post on battery. Touched connector to post, got sparks, tightened connector. Viola Henry Ford lives. Went into cab, turned key radio sounded engine started. Good to go. Saved the $100 deductable. Got a steak dinner instead.
I replaced the battery in my 2001 ford expedition and the alarm will not shut off nor will the car start. I have lost the FOAB and don't know how to dedicate the alarm. Help
I never received the unlock code from the previous owners, so that won't work.
Then try from inside the rig manually lock all the doors except the drivers then with keys in hand exit the vehicle, close the drivers door and with the key manually lock the drivers door, wait at least three minutes then using the key manually unlock the drivers door enter and start the engine. If that doesn’t work then you have something wrong with the security system and it will need to be checked over by someone that knows the system. They can also get you the code at that time.
I have a 2000 Ford expedition with a short in the system I think I have some issues with the heater motor not blowing or heater fan I should say the blend door works great but the fan doesn't blow and also there is always some fuses popping here and there does anybody know anything about which fuse could operate the heater fan I'm freezing it is 29 degrees
You can find your unlock code inside on a sticker or punched into your fuse box in the truck itself. That's gore I got mine to unlock. When you open your passenger door which I have a 2003 expedition the fuse box is right next to where your foot would touch on the floor where the door meets behind the plastic cover. Pull that and look around you'll see the number password for your number code unlock. O and your welcome lol.
I have a 1998 ford expedition. In theft mode . Cant thebbattery being low cause this?
