Car turns on but it shuts off when I release it

I have a 1994 Honda Accord when I
turn the key on it starts when I release
the key is turns off I have to hold the
key to make it run

I have a 1994 Honda Accord when I turn the key on it starts but when I release the key it shuts off I have to hold the key in order to run sometimes it just so I can release it and it stays on

The ignition switch or the lock cylinder has failed. When you let the key go from the 'start' position, does it turn back too far, killing the engine? Or does it go to the correct 'run' position, but still needs held? The ignition lock cylinder isn't too horrible to replace, but the ignition switch itself is pretty tough as the wires run all the way down the steering column.

Thank you very much I'm going to show you some pictures to see what part do I need to replace this is the the key cylinder or the ignition switch in the back of the cylinder
