why my car dosent engage wen i through it in gear?

I'm stuck trying to see whats wrong ?
i have the car running and wen i throw into all the gears it doesn't move what could be the
prob ? it also doesn't stall while being in gear?

Your linkage part of it is under the console and also check the end where it connects to the transmission there is a pin that connect shifting linkage to a transmission shifting pin alot of the time those pins that connect the two snap or fall out you can drill it out and or find a bolt and nut to fit it as a replacement

so it wudnt be a clutch or tranny or axle prob correct ? i was told dose mite be it

Yes that is a possiability when was the clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing changed

like 5 6 months ago and i dnt drive it often i have been doin burnouts and shit with it

Now im just going to for warn you to have some one do it is 400 to 600 dollars plus part because they have to drop the engine and tranny together ive done one for a friend it takes about 8 hours to do and only charged a hundred dollars plus help that was payment for me

id do i myself ive dne a couple clutches already bro clutch kits are 80 bukes on ebay

It is possible youve torn the synceonizers up in the transmission those hondas are not meant to be drag raced unless its built right a used transmission will cost u 250

my car is a 99 civic si and I got the same problem, I think it could be that slave cylinder is fried? could that be? im asking for any opinion

I also have a 89 civic hatchback an drove good today then the gear would not catch at all?

i have a 2013 civic si an my vtec wont crack in first gear but will crack just fine in every other gear.. i just bout the car so its not like i drove it yesterday an it worked an now it dont so im not sure if its a safety thing with these cars or what is it? i use to have a 06 civic si an my vtec cracked in first gear no problem.. can some one tell me if this is normal with the k24 or is there something wrong with my car..

My 96 is doin the same thing....i got my stage 2clutch about a lil over a year ago....it drove fine...then on day i was driving and i was in 3 and drop to 2nd gear then the car just stop moving...it was still on....just not moving....and it makes a weird noise when i put it in gear....like the transmission moving or sumthing.....somebody shed some light and let me know wats goin on
