If the timing belt on a 1992 Honda accord breaks is the motor still good?

This means that you might bend some valves if timing belt breaks. Will have to do a compression check on all cylinders in order to know if any are bent. Any cylinders showing 0 psi on compression test will have bent valves. If they bent will have to remove affected head and replace the bent valves.

Yes. If un sure when it was last changed I advice to remove the dust cover and inspect its condition and tension. And if it look worn, loose or dry rot/cracked I would replace it and the water pump at the same time.
