'91 Honda Accord Sputtering, Dying

Asked by dthoma19 Apr 08, 2013 at 12:50 PM about the 1991 Honda Accord LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It's sputtering some during idle and when I start giving it gas to go. Recently, it's started having issues with it starting, then sputtering and dying before I can give it gas. Once I give it gas and get it going, it runs fine unless it sputters again when idling. Any ideas?

One cause could be a vacuum leak from a cracked hose. If there is a CEL, get the codes read.
