2022 Honda CR-V - OverDrive Button won't pop up. Should I be concerned?

I did a test drive of this CRV 2022, and I pushed in the stick, which is on the
dash (see pic). There's an OH button, but it didn't come back up again. Is this a
sign of expensive trouble?  familiar with how the 4x4 works? does it mean I am
permanently driving it on 4x4 unless the button pops up again?
