Car running hot

My 2004 Aztec is running hot no water is getting
into the moter what could cause this

Most likely, the water pump has failed. You need to replace it as soon as possible as overheating the engine could result in massive failures like cracked head or block which pretty much means you'll be replacing the entire engine.
