Starting my car
I purchased a used Toyota hybrid RAV4 2016 in December.
I was hit from behind by somebody who was texting and not
paying attention in January.
The car had been in the shop for a while and I just got it back
about 2 weeks ago.
The first time I picked it up it was not starting properly so I
brought it back so the auto body guy.
he kept it for another week told me to come get it the following
Friday and I made him come out with me to make sure that it
started properly this time.
Sure enough it wasn't starting properly,he told me that I have to
shift the gear in order to get the engine to start..
does that sound right?? Because when I first bought the
vehicle the only thing I had to do was press the brake pedal
and then hit the start button and it went on.
Now I have to put my foot on brake pedal press the start
button shift into any gear then shift back into park because I'm
not moving immediately.
