Temp issues for a 2004 Elantra GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Not too long ago we replaced thermostat and radiator...now, 9 months later, the temp is moving above the normal point to just above the 1/2 way point of the gauge then going back down ... it seems immediately effected by the A/c... is this possible? Anyone else seen this problem? Wondering if it is a compressor issue or hoses? Neither? Thanks for any help or insight you can provide!

more then likely the car is low on coolant. the bypass hose for the water pump(its the little elbow hose just above the lower radiator hose) is usually the cause in my experience. all it takes is a small leak to lose enough coolant to get an air pocket in it and cause the temp flucuation your talking about
What causes the temperature gauge to go the hot and back down to half cold and hot
Change the thermostat sensor also
