I have a 2004 hyundia sonata.I just had the timing belt done.I was changing the spark plugs and I found motor oil in the #1 & #3.Can it be from the timing belt job and how can I fix it?

I just had the timing belt done. I was chaging the spark plugs and found motor oil in the #1 & #3. Can it be from the timing belt job and how can I fix it ?

If it's in the spark plug well, it's probably from a small leak. Clean it up as best you can so it doesn't drip into the cylinders.

Usually when oil is in the spark plug holes it's because of the valve cover gasket and grommets around the spark plug holes
