i have a 2000 ford explorer, would not go into park, now will not go into reverse, we filled the fluid up and got reverse for about 3 minutes, has any one got suggestions please?

auto shift will not go into reverse or park. can get neutral, drive and 1 and 2.
filled the fluid up, got reverse for a moment and now will not go there. please
help me with some suggestions to this problem.my email is

My 05 will not reverse just happened out of the blue one day and since there's no dipstick to check fluid not sure how to do that does this mean my transmission is bad my 4x4 light comes on n off my cruise quit working but 4x4 still works and all other gears
