Won't move in Drive or Reverse

Asked by Derrick May 28, 2016 at 08:59 PM about the 2000 Ford Explorer XLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2000 ford explorer won't move in Drive or
reverse. I can put it into 1st or 2nd gear and it will
drive with those.
Transom fluid doesn't look good, not brown but not
like it should either.

Is there any way that his truck would be stuck in Anti-Tow mode thru the gear selector?
