i had my cam sensor replaced two weeks ago. aparently they shop left the coolant fill cap off. i now have a check engine light. can this be why and how can i fix it?

the coolant being low probably did not turn on the light,unless it was really low and the car overheated. im gonna assume that this is a 4 cylinder car since you said its a base model. most of the time ive seen a cam sensor code it turns out to need a crank sensor instead sso it might have the very same code stored in it as before.
Doubtful leaving the cap off tripped a check engine light. That could be due to any one or more of literally hundreds of things. You need to get a code reader on the car, Autozone will do it for free, that will give you an idea of what the problem could be. It may be as simple as a loose gas cap.
Took it back to shop that did work. They checked it and determined was faulty part. Hopefully new one won't be.

I have change the camshaft position sensor and oil flow control valve on my 2017 Hyundai sonata and it's still the same. The engine light still on plus the code p0010 and p0011 still comes up. Don't know what to do.
