2015 Jeep Patriot will not start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car won’t start. Not battery. Turning on the ignition starter activates, but
release the ignition the starter continues to crank. Engine will not fire. Have to
physically turn off the ignition switch to stop the starter.

That is normal for it to continue cranking… check to see if u may have a bad fuel pump… bang on the fuel tank and have someone crank at the same time
