why is the air bag light on in my car

car was fixed new alternator new battery all of a sudden the   air bag light is on  steady.

If there was no accident and the airbags have never deployed; check out the fuse, it might be out.

yes my sister had the same problem it ended up being fuse and dummy light faulty

Could be the airbag sensor in the passenger side seat. Not sure if that model had an issue with that but it could be a possible cause.
