Refueling the 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited

Question type: General
What gives when putting in fuel? The handle/pump continuously shuts off while fueling so that it makes it difficult to know when it is actually full. Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, in my case I wasn't putting the gas nozzle in far enough. There must be a sensor in there somewhere.

Same problem- also have false reading from Check engine light? dealer checked for evap, etc. issues- found none.
Same issue. Simply put the nozzle in and turn it upside down, so that the handle is above the nozzle. Works like a charm.
2018 Grand Cherokee, same problem. Need to turn nozzle to 90 degree position to get it to fill.
I have a 2018 Sterling. Best way is to hold it upside down so the handle is facing upward. It might look and feel weird but it always works
